The board can be connected directly to the tracker with a standard network cable. For trackers (most) that also provide power through the RJ jack, no additional power is required.

I'm using the module to read the data from three EPEVER charge controllers, and I'm extremely satisfied. The Modbus adapter I previously had from another company wasn't that great and was difficult to set up. The EPEVER 2MQTT, on the other hand, is super easy to integrate into iobroker.
Function with Home Assistant is great
